One of the most common questions we receive at Skyline is “What will my house cleaning include?”. Here is a list of the main tasks Skyline does to keep your house clean and looking great, broken into 3 areas – your bathrooms, kitchen and dining room, and other living areas.

 

Bathrooms

First off, your bathroom cleaning will include –

  • Dusting the window sills, ceiling vents, blinds, and other horizontal surface
  • Vacuuming & mopping of floors and rugs 
  • Trash removal 
  • Full cleaning of mirrors 
  • Cleaning of the sink, counter, and toilet
  • Cleaning of the shower walls, glass, and floor
  • And finally spot wiping of the front of any cabinets as needed

 

Kitchen and Dining Room

Next up, your kitchen and dining room. Cleaning here will consist of –

  • Dusting of window sills, ceiling vents, and blinds, making sure to remove any cobwebs around light fixtures, doors and baseboards 
  • Vacuuming of carpets and rugs, and mopping of hard floors. 
  • Trash removal
  • Wiping of counters and islands. 
  • Cleaning the outside of your main appliances, including the refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and oven.  Making sure to clean the inside of your microwave as well.
  • Cleaning and deliming of the sink and faucet. 
  • Spot Wiping of the backsplash areas, cabinetry, chairs, and stools as needed. 

 

Living Areas

Finally, your Living Areas, including any Bedrooms, Offices, Entryways, Mudrooms, Stairs, Hallways, Gyms, Living Rooms, and Laundry Rooms. The cleaning we provide in these areas includes – 

  • Dusting of horizontal surfaces, such as window sills, and end tables
  • Vacuuming of carpets or mopping of hard floors 
  • Trash removal
  • Vacuuming upholstery, removing any pet hair
  • And last of all, Spot wiping light switches, window sills, doors, and touch points.
