What is Carpet Encapsulation?
Carpet encapsulation is a low-moisture cleaning process that uses a special cleaning solution to break down dirt, grime, and other contaminants in the carpet fibers. The solution is then agitated using a machine with a brush or pad, which helps to loosen and lift the dirt from the carpet. Read more in our blog post on Carpet Encapsulation.
Which Carpets Can Be Serviced?
We primarily clean synthetic fiber carpets in both commercial and residential settings using carpet encapsulation. This is because natural fiber carpets tend to require less agitation and are better cleaned with carpet extraction.

How It Works
1. Pre-Vacuuming
Before the cleaning process begins, we thoroughly vacuum the carpets to remove dry soil and debris. It ensures that our carpet encapsulation process will work as effectively as possible. You can think of it like scraping food off of plates before placing them in the dishwasher.
2. Pre-Treatment Application
After the vacuuming is completed, we apply a specialized encapsulation solution to the targeted areas of your carpet, ensuring maximum effectiveness. The cleaning solution loosens up dirt, grime, and other pollutants, guaranteeing that the extraction process gets every unwanted piece of debris. Depending on the carpet, this is done either before, or during the carpet agitation.
3. Carpet Agitation
The carpet is then agitated to evenly distribute the cleaning solution across the carpet fibers. Our powerful equipment sprays hot water and cleaning solution onto the carpet, while simultaneously extracting the water along with the loosened dirt and grime. The watery solution softens the carpet and picks up all of the debris, but the extraction pulls that water back into the machine, and the debris with it.
Why Use Carpet Encapsulation?
Carpet encapsulation is an interim cleaning between carpet extractions. This allows you to extend the time between carpet extraction services, saving you time and money.
It reaches deep into the fibers to eliminate tough stains, allergens, and trapped contaminants. When your carpets are lightly soiled, carpet encapsulation is an excellent choice. Short-pile carpets also tend to respond best to carpet encapsulation.
